The Rauhnaechte (actually Rauhnächte) are the nights around Christmas up until Three Kings on the 6th of January. Not only are they the longest nights of the year, during the height of the dark season. In the minds of people a few centuries ago, monsters and witches roamed those nights, and would catch everyone caught out after dark.

A Failed Vortex Tealight – Rauhnacht Follow-up 1

I said that I would to follow-up videos for the projects in the Rauhnacht-Series, and I did! At least for the first one. I probably should not make such a big deal out of sticking to what I promised… Anyway, in this video I will show you what the Devil’s tealight holder was originally meant to be – it could have been a Vortex. Enjoy, and remember to be Inspired!

Oracles, Predictions & A Fluted Fail

If you are having trouble seeing the future, then the Rauhnächte are the time for you to change that. There are too many methods to actually list, but I have the most important ones for you in this video. Yes, the accompanying project was a fail, but there was no way I could have seen that coming… Enjoy, and remember to be Inspired!

The Wild Hunt & A Thematic Manometer

The Wild Hunt roams again, spreading fear and terror in the skies and below during the Rauhnächte. In this installment of the Rauhnacht-Series I will introduce you to Odin and his merry band of misfits. Enjoy, and also check out the rest of the Rauhnacht-Series. And remember to be Inspired!

Origin of the Rauhnächte & The Devil’s Tealight Holder

This is the first video in a series of four, dealing with the Rauhnächte, those nights “between years”, i.e. around new year that were said to be special in local folklore where I live. Learn what made them special, and how to score a lump of gold (don’t get your hopes up) in this video. Enjoy, and remember to be Inspired!
